CCR Curriculum

Career and College Readiness (CCR) Lessons

As promised, the Lesson Plans are rolling out and priority plans have been posted for grades 6 through 10. These CCR lessons are for grades 6–12 and will help practitioners guide students on a journey to develop a plan for their future and focus on making the most out of high school. These lessons are connected to the state graduation requirements, Mindsets and Behaviors for Student Success, and to the Oregon Goes To College "It's a Plan" College Checklists. Many of these lessons were adapted from the Career Guidance Washington curriculum. Each grade level has approximately 30 lessons, so check back frequently for updated lessons! Like us on Facebook for even more frequent updates.

We are working in partnership with the Oregon Department of Education to ensure that these lessons reflect Oregon's standards and requirements.

  • ECMC provides educators free curricula and training, because they believe that every student who wants to go to college should have the opportunity.  See more about this in their Newsletter on C3's News Page.
  • Believing the College Dream (middle school) helps you motivate students to dream big and gives them practical skills to make their dreams happen.
  • Realizing the College Dream (high school) makes the economic necessity of a college education clear and debunks the myth that college is unaffordable.
  • PERSIST (higher education) helps you support low-income, first-generation students of all ages so they stay in school and graduate.
  • Youscience Universal/Substitute Lesson Plan - Youscience work to connect careers and education to help students find success in life and school.
