Suitable for older youth, interns will be hosting David Ambroz and discussing his memoir, A Place Called Home, which is his powerful account of growing up in foster care and overcoming adversity.
For younger children, the TAY AmeriCorps interns will be hosting story time, reading the new book I Love You More than Cereal, a heart-warming story about love and family written by two former foster youth who are now married and have started a family of their own.
These events are open to any current or former foster child or youth, their caregivers, supportive adults and agencies.
